So I'm starting to look at various types of grass seed, and came across one which contains micro clover.  The result is meant to be lower maintenance (yay!) and as I'm not looking for a bowling green effect i thought this would be OK...

Thoughts?

Ours will have to be re seeded again this year I get the tough seed from wilkinsons they sell it lose.

You can buy grass seed that doesn't grow as fast so doesn't need mowing as often, though how true that is, I don't know. I have used Wilko's loose seed before and it was ok.

I've got several patches of spontaneously-appearing clover in my lawn, and it certainly ain't micro but is often the greenest and best-looking part of the whole lawn!

I'd never heard of a variety specially developed for use in lawns, but 'looking' around such mixtures certainly do exist, and presumably help feed the grass by fixing nitrogen. Can't see any obvious downsides based on what little I've read.
