Jelly Potato - New Variety
« on: February 24, 2014, 20:23 »
I found Jelly Potatoes on sale in a supermarket in the winter. A new main crop variety, bred in Germany, for roasting and chipping.
Seed was only available commercially. Good disease and blight resistance.  Today found packs of 10 tubers packed  by Taylor's in a garden centre.
The ones we tried were super flavour and looked good to show.

I spent a week looking, and eBay never occurred to me!
All brought and paid for now so we will see how they go.

My little boy chose them to plant this year because one of his favourite desserts is jelly so he liked the name.
