I cracked an egg for breakfast and I noticed there was blood in the yolk is it safe to eat

No problem at all - sometimes you get small blood spots in eggs.  :)

So did I and I had the same red spot as you did.  I just fed one of the eggs to my hubby for breakfast - no problem.
When I die I will slide in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand and chocolate in the other, screaming, "Whooo hooo!  What a ride!" as life is to be enjoyed to the fullest!

 Cockerals have nothing to do with a blood spot in the egg as far as I'm aware.

It does happen sometimes.  I dont like the look of it, so I just take it out with a spoon.

Cocktails have nothing to do w 8th a blood spot in the egg as far as I'm aware.
