which crops for shady bed?

I have an area between my raspberries and compost that I was planning on planting new potatoes.  However I think it may be too much in the shade as it has a fence on the south side and does not get much sun.
What will grow well in shade or will the pots be ok there?

I was thinking more about veg. Do you think the potatoes would grow ok in this shade? I thought I could then grow Kale after them.

Before I got my veg garden together, I literally bunged in some caulis under an old appple tree and they did really well. One end of my veg area is in partial shade most of the year and I now tend to plant caulis, calabrese and anything else like that which tends to "blow" in full sun. Apart from peas, beans etc which flower, I would try anything depending on your available space.
