Sowed cucamelon seeds. Not many in a packet are there. Just shut pt door after covering up me delicates. Also covered the spuds. Down to 2 deg forecast tonight.

I managed a quick couple of hours after work.

Weeded Strawberry and Blueberry beds.

Potted on Courgettes and rescued sunflowers that I had forgotten to water in the cold frame that we're looking very sorry for themselves.

Last few days;

Watered! The plot is like a dust bowl currently.

At home;
Sowed 240 Runner Beans destined for the plot.
Sowed 48 peas (NOTE TO SELF these are the trays without labels).
Potted on 50 tomato plants.

Took rotavator from lottie site 1 to site 2 went over it 4 times,very nicely done ready for spuds to go in tomorrow,also weeded site 2 and watered garlic in gh.Went back to site 1 and watered pt and 3 gh's got some more beetroot planted and some leeks,then earthed up spuds in case of frost, sadly the chap (Derek) who ran the lottie passed away last tuesday so theres a funeral  to attend tomorrow,the whole site has been invited by his son who also runs it with (dereks brother) it was a family  run committee he will be sadly missed he had run it for over 25 years.

Picked loads of PSB and the OH made chiche out of it bean sticks up and now trenching manure for the pumpkins/squash.

Popped in after work and  covered the  seedlings in my greenhouse.

stripped the floor of the old shed and levelled and extended the flagstone base for the new shed floor.

Watered, finished covering strawberries and then a quick coffee before off to Chichester to visit Uncle in care home.

Started planting my potatoes,lady christyl, salad blue,blue bell & ambo in.

Dug over and raked the final bed, netted the strawberries and planted some summer bulbs in the pots on the balcony

Sowed sweetcorn in pots, some in propagator and some on windowsill (only really have one of each).  Was going to put this up plot under pop bottles but chickened out.  Pricked out some celeriac and then spent rest of afternoon making bee house which turned out too heavy, and needing full sun, to put up the plot in the end!

Nothing ,i had good intentions of planting spuds after the funeral but did neither as my friend phoned last night wanting me to build him some big dog kennels 10mtr x 3mtr i couldon't turn him down as he pays very well got them finished they look great

My son planted the oca while I trenched manure, put the sweetcorn to chit and the berloti beans.

Lots of hoeing too, I love my Jalo hoe.
