Popped by the allotment after work and watered the fruit plot as it seemed dusty/dry. Gave the Blueberries a thorough soaking.

I noticed the mice had been at the germinating pea seeds! grrrrr

Moved all plants and trays around pt to make more room,watered garlic and borlotti,broad, runner beans and spuds in gh,spuds have flowers on now ill be pulling the swift spuds end of this month

Went last night for a couple of hours. Did some general tidying, weeding and pulled up few Leeks.
Where do all the weeds come from?

Quick trip this morning to pull rhubarb for tonight and to check everything ok after last nights frost.
Phew...... All seem good so back home and on with mega transplanting/potting on session in the greenhouse today.

Went straight to the plot after work, just got home. Digging, digging and more digging.
Need a glass of red now.

Put together a 6x8 shed for my plot neighbour,then he ran me to the garden centre to pick up some seeds,fennel,kohl rabi,mixed chard,beetroot, Planted out block beetroot, block onions,brussel sprouts

No gardening.  Took delivery of my new shed and spent the rest of the day demolishing the old one. Hands and feet sore and got sunburnt!

Feeling quite chuffed. Bed is properly dug over and fertilized, rotivating this weekend!

Strimmed the paths, then planted some shallots and netted them, then put wood stakes in place for securing raspberries. Then put weedsuppressant down in front of them and mulched with bark chippings. Hopefully will cut down on the weeding this year.

Did watering, put phosphate fertiliser on flowering broad beans (?), painted shed, checked compost bins for space for incoming manure. Topped up woodchip paths.
Collected truck load of manure and filled up compost bins and gave what I didn't want to fellow plot holders.
Didn't net strawberries. Job for tomorrow.

A quick visit this morning to open the greenhouse door and do a little watering, and then a visit tonight to close the door again.

Tidied the scrap wood from my old shed into a big heap on an empty bed (I might have to find somewhere else to put my peas unless I can get it moved soon)
Got the flagstones levelled for the base of the new shed.
Got a coat of wood treatment on the under side of the shed floor.

Busy couple of days.  Yesterday showed new people round the allotments.  4 took 5 of the plots on offer.  Great result except the first who took the best plot, changed her mind today.  Quite a pain to sort out.

Started to fill up first raised bed on daughter's plot with sifted soil and compost from the communal heap.

No water supply as pipe leak.  Council not fixed yet.  Plotholders getting restive about lack of H2O.

Picked loads of PSB.
