Watered broad beans and things in pots.  Need to take the hose up to the plot as I am now on 30+ watering cans for a thorough plot soaking.

Thinned and transplanted Cos and Little Gem lettuces, dug up enough Rocket spuds to make enough space for my leeks, which are now dibbed and watered in (how is it that when you count them in the tray there are 'X' plants which you then make sufficient room for, but when you tip them out there are 'X x 1.5' ?    )

Hubby is watering and weeding as normal. I think he needed an escape after walking in after a serious play date which meant my garden looked like a beach. LOL hey hoe the kids have never had so much fun.

Sieved last weeks bonfire, & added it to the fire bin & set fire to the remains. 10 barrow loads of compost trundled to the squash bed, covered with membrane & 4 gherkins planted. 2ornamental gourds planted with the sweet corn.. 3 barrow loads of compost dug in to bed for tomatoes to be planted out tomorrow. Watered beans,sweet corn,beetroot & chard plantings.

Planted out some dwarf french beans (purple queen), watered and fed the squashes and tomatoes.  Tied in various wandering stems.
Picked strawberries, pulled winter onions, picked sweet peas.

Nothing today just a quick check,all weeding was done yesterday now I'm of to Wales for week.

Another couple of hours last night for me and the wife!
Planted out Moore cabbage, red and spring, calabrese, cauliflower, kale.
Dibbed in the leeks, winter giant and Musselburgh.
Watered the plot and added more netting over the brassicas!

Cut the tops off my remaining first and second earlies.   The blight had spread despite spraying.   Thankfully maincrop appear to be unaffected so far.  Weeded.  Watered.  Picked onions, garlic, shallots and strawberries.   

OH did more work on new raised bed.

Had very productive few hours on plot. Planted sweetcorn and built little wall around them all for shelter out of plastic panels. Looks good!
OH finally managed to dig tree up after 3rd visit! Left very big hole which took long time to dig over area and rake level. Plot looks so much better as tree was covered in brambles, grass, weeds and looked mess, Also stopped me planting near it too so space limited.

Another hour after work, I watered & weeded whilst SWMBO (Nix) planted the Cannellini beans.
