I have eaten my first home grown produce today. Some lovely radishes for lunch.

Way to go, Aled! Radishes were also the first home-grown produce of my own I ever ate. Still remember the satisfaction they gave me and still grow them in their honour!

Weeded, watered, fed tomatoes in polytunnel.   Peered at remaining potatoes.  They looked OK.  Neighbour has removed blighted potato foliage.

3 hours weeding with a  brake to make a cup of tea. Looks a lot better . Watered and replaced trap for codling moth.counted 24 moths on the sticky sheet. First of the beet root harvested along with new potatoes and strawberries. Left the plot heading for the beach for some R & R.

Pulled one of the potatoes, but they were all still small, so they have got some growing to do yet.

Picked more strawberries, fed the squashes, watered seedlings and beans.

Watered - it's dust dry already.  Planted out some icebergs and some beetroot then scattered more blue pellets of death.

Pulled some of the grass out from around the raspberries, picked a few strawberries and a couple of globe artichokes before they open too much

Extended a wall to give me another area to use for an odd shaped raised bed. Tried to weed but was beaten back by all the bees  Despatched Micky and 4 of his relatives, I expect he has a large extended family so I've ordered more traps.  Bit of a clean up and then watered the beetroot and icebergs I put in yesterday.

Doesn't seem a lot to do very little clearing, planting or harvesting - feels odd, normally I'm running around like a headless chicken this time of year.

Just managed an hour after work, so watered and weeded

Watered (I decided hose was needed for the first time this year...), squished some asparagus grubs and ate some strawberries.

(Special thanks go to the gentleman who popped home to get a hose attachment-the one on the tap had disappeared rendered the hose unconnectable).

Planted more leeks caulis and savoy put netting over strawbs and tied b beans in watered gh's and pt stopped toms

Spent an hour and a half last night tidying up a few weeds and sowing more carrots.
Netted the peas as the sparrows are attacking the foliage!
Watered the plot, plenty on the spuds!
Tied in the runner beans, the wife planted them 6" away from the canes
