I have club root and was very generous with the lime this year. It seems to have worked for me so far as I haven't seen any yet.
Club root is worse when the soil is very wet.

I followed advice from here and grew brassicas on to 5" or 6" pots, added lime at planting and although obviously infected when I pulled them up, I got decent cabbage, kale and PSB

I had this at my old plot.

I build a raised bed and dug out about a foot below. Filled the hole with cardboard then fresh soil/compost etc.

Worked a treat. Also grew some in tomato pots just in case and all came up fine.

My new plot will all be raised but not just for this, I just prefer them.
