I have had to use my vif etamps pumpkin as it has started to go soft. I have no more freezer/fridge space and I still have half left - it was 56" circumference.
What is the storage life left to it? Could I cling film it and keep it in a plastic greenhouse just outside the house?

I suppose it would be like keeping it in the fridge, but if it freezes it will turn to mush

roasted it will take less freezer space and is excellent for curries, casseroles etc etc.

Thanks for the replies,
only freezer space is the small section in the fridge, freezer packed in and yet to get a new one 
I have wrapped it in several layers of bags so hope it will last until I come back from work
