hi what are the pellets called and where can you buy them, im in lancashire in darwen, never seen any in my usual feed places, can you use them for youngsters on growers pellets aswell x

The pellets I bought were by Marriages and I bought them online as no one stocks them locally.  My hens are about 6months old, so not sure how young they have to be before they can have these pellets.

Now that the week is over, I am pleased to say that they eventually got used to the pellets and ate them all up every day.  No sign of any worms, but better safe than sorry.

thanks ghost i will get some, my young ones are 15 weeks old got loads of growers left is it about 16 weeks they can go on layers x

Sorry, bit of a blonde moment, as my hens are about 10 months old, as I got them as POLs in May. So they were about 15/16 weeks old and on layers, if that helps?

We have got our hens on Marriage's this week (day 3).  They seem to be eating more than usual!
