Should I plant out perennials now?

I still have perennials in pots. Is it too late to plant them out, or should I wait till spring? I have scabiosa and eryismum to plant. Will they be ok if I plant out now?

I also have an astrantia major Shaggy to go in a very moist bed.

If they've been standing outside in pots, then they should be ok to plant now.

If the boggy bed is only temporarily boggy because of all the recent rain, it should be ok to plant if we get a few dry days. Astrantias lke moist ground.

They are from a nursery, I presume they will have been outside?

Nursery plants are often under protection. So, I'd stand them outside, somewhere a bit sheltered (in the lee of a fence or hedge?) for a few weeks.

Then plant in permanent positions

You can plant them at time once they are acclimatised, as long as the ground is not frozen of course
