Bulbs planted too early?
« on: November 03, 2013, 15:15 »
I planted some daffodils in pots in September & some of them have already started sprouting - whoops! Will these be killed off by frost or do you think they'll be alright? The ones in the flower beds were planted at the same time but haven't emerged yet.

They be fine.

They sit through tough times in the early months of the year, having popped through.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

So no need to cover them up with some extra compost?
