hi lads and lasses just put two rows of red baron onions in this morning got them from wilkos hope its not too late do you think they should be ok ive put netting over them

Ooh, I didn't know Red Baron over wintered.
These are just my opinions based on what I have read, the filters my brain uses as a product of my upbringing, and the experiences I have had growing food. I am not intending to convince anyone I am right, just supply my opinion when it is asked for. I am also open to changing my opinions! Nick

Actually NicoV, you're right.

I didn't see beyond winter planting. Red Baron are for spring planting, March onwards and may not over-winter successfully. I'm a bit surprised that you could actually buy them. T & M for example are showing them as sold out and won't have them in stock until later on.

i got them from wilcos ive left the label on the end of the row ill double check in the morning when i go back up aww well if there no good its a lesson learned
