Oh dear what a shame  :(  You have my sympathy but just cos one is rotten doesn't mean they all are. Chin up  :)  You can support growing squash fruits on an upturned dinner plate, slate or brick to keep them off the ground to help prevent rotting

I harvested the last of my marrows today and one of those was rotten too. The wet weather is to blame, so I'm glad that the rest, together with butter nuts and spaghetti squash were picked a couple of weeks ago and are safely in store. Thankfully the courgettes are now rotting at the ends.......

Hmmm - you like courgettes with rotten ends then? I could send you some.

Happy that the courgettes are rotting, as we have had over 400 from four plants and are sick to death of them!
