If you turn a flymow upside down to use the power and it can suck the feathers in to the grass collector??? It's a idea I have? Would it work?

As idyllic as it sounds, it wouldn't work. The birds need to be scalded to just the right temperature and length of time first and that would loosen the feathers quite a bit, but then some sort of manual plucking would be needed to actually get them out.

Don't know if you can get the 'fingers' in the UK, but here's the unit I plan to make next year: HERE

There's a book available on how to build your own unit but the plucker 'fingers' might be hard to find. I'm getting mine online from the whizbang guy. And yes, you must still first scald the birds. He gives some instructions on that as well.

We pluck our poultry dry, as the meat starts to deteriorate quicker if the birds are wet first.
