Mine didn't like porrige oats but they did like bran mixed with warm water, a few sunflower seeds and mealworms.

After reading another post regarding warming porridge, I bought some quaker oats.  Mixed to a thick gruel with some dried fruit & a little bit of banana and they seemed to love it, eventually.  At first they all came running, took a few pecks and wandered off.  But they kept coming back and it was soon all gone.

Try mixing in a few mealworms

When packets of shredded wheat had a load of coupons printed on the back of the packet (that you could use as payment for anything at Tesco, Asda, etc.) with a greater value than the cost of the packet, especially when they were on BOGOFF!, we ended up with a years supply of free hen treats/breakfast for our daughter.

Went to the trouble of making my rabbit porridge as he was looking a bit forlorn, he turned up his nose, so I thought the chooks would polish it off, they turned up their noses too.  Think it might be the way I make it!
