Growing Bougainvillea

I have just taken some green cutting from my Spanish friends Bougainvillea bush. Can anyone tell me if they will grow in the UK? (SW Wales)

They'll grow in a warm conservatory - if you're lucky

I suspected that was that case, so if the cutting take I will pass them on to other friends down here.

They need oodles of sun to ripen the wood so they flower too - warmth is important but also a good sunny spot.
