They can sprout quite early from some vague memory in so many years.

If you get a mild autumn, they might start fruiting for you even. :lol: Just cut them down around Feb as usual, I'd say.

At 4" they are unlikely to fruit but I do want to move them ! wondering whether or not I could use these ?

They certainly shall survive. The autumn raspb is in a large part a pruning regime. They do not produce that well in summer though.

I think, you will be fine, using them and prune as per autumn ones, once established.
