Rust on leeks
« on: September 28, 2013, 15:59 »
I noticed that my leeks seem to have rust (orange spots on leaves that leave a rust coloured 'stain' on by hands if I touch them). Is there anything organic I can do to get rid of it?

I understand it is a fungal spore so does this mean my leeks should be ok next year or will the whole plot be 'contaminated' by the spores?

I am assuming I will still be able to eat them as the rust is only on the leaves?
