No special treatment required  :)  Just dry off and store  :)

  fat baby thread...
New shoot, as you are the expert- I've got a (late June?) planted huge triffid plant (about 5ft and runners everywhere, but no flowers.  rich soil and semi sheltered spot.  Any ideas?  Maybe I'll just get them going earlier next year  :(

Not an expert - only grown them a couple of times and  eeerrrrrr  mislaid the seeds this spring and discovered them too late to sow them, so got none myself this year  ::)

I think it may be too late for fruit this year, but check very carefully for flowers.  They are pretty small.  It might help to remove the runners.  That is what kick-started my cucamelons actually fruiting this year unstead of just making more and more leaves.   You'll have to keep your fingers crossed that it stays mild  :)
