I grew a fabulous crop of celery this year. I have been just pulling stalks as I need them, but I think I've got to lift them completely before the frosts or I'll lose them. Is there any way to store them other than dehydrating or freezing? In the past I've always tended to freeze, because I mostly use celery for soups and casseroles, but I just wondered if there was any way to make them last longer fresh.

I store mine (bought ones)in their polybags in the salad compartment of the fridge and they last for ages. then the last few stalks get frozen.

Like Annen, I find that they last for ages in poly bags in the fridge.

Juts make sure they have no little slugs with them -- I bag each head separately (Celery head I mean not slug of course  )
