I have had 4 Orpington hens for 3 years. Two weeks ago Suzie started being attacked by two of her sisters, to the point where she was sat in a corner, not eating and I feared she would die. Have seperated the two offenders and after two weeks tried to reintroduce. Immediately she was attached again. Advise please

Hens can suddenly turn nasty if one of their number is sick.  They try and drive away the sick hen to protect themselves 

Give Suzie a real thorough check over and check her weight.  Was she eating and drinking all right when the bullies were away from her and has she been wormed recently?

Hope its something fairly simple and you can get this resolved

I had a problem with top hen and Roberta coming back to me. Roberta went into submissive pose and Bluey stood over her plucking her!!! My chicken run is split in to with a door which can be brought down to separate the runs; so Bluey was put in outer run with hutch, water, food and covered area for 2 days. When allowed out she tried to pluck Roberta again, so picked up, told off and another time out. Now fine.
I would not normally interfere, but Bluey is a full size Bluebelle, whilst Roberta is a bantam and 3 years older.
I have 2 food feeders as well as several water points in garden as well as run.
I am also the "cockerel" who can pick chooks up.
