Carrots

Please could anyone tell me what has eaten my carrot tops. I have this problem on my allotment plus the garden at home. The two type's of carrots affected are Carrot Autumn King 2 and Carrot Resistafly F1. I have attached 2 photo's hope these are some help.

The pic on the right looks like blackfly not sure on the left though?

I think the horrid one on the left might be the larvae of the parsnip moth (I kid you not!). These two links might be helpful:

I have never seen such like, Becky's answer seems to be professional.

The right just looks like some common gh problem. Where are you growing them?

Here, we had a great year year for carrots, growing like mad they have been.

Have the tops just died because there is carrot-fly in the roots
