Manure

I had a load of fresh cow manure delivered. Is it worth spreading some on the surface between my rows of broccoli and sprouts? (but not to close)

No! It's still to fresh and will burn roots that extend beyond the plant.

Best to stack it somewhere to mature until next year, or, wait until the garden is cleared in fall and spread it then.
