Just bung 'em all in?
« on: August 11, 2013, 14:19 »

Collected all the white, red and blackcurrants and we seem to have equal quantities of each but not enough of one to make a batch of jam/jelly.  Should I bung 'em all in together and have 'tri colour currant jam' ?

Cheers,   Tony. :)
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

Or make a summer pudding, you can freeze them to make another one later in the year.

I would put the red and whiye together to make jelly and add some bramley apples to the blackcurrants to make either jam or fruit pies. ;)

A very scrummy light red jam.  Cheers,   Tony.
