Six Day Old Chicks Sparring

No, no, no, no!!!   :ohmy:  Two of my six day old chicks were having a face off this morning, and bumping their chests together, fluttering their tiny wings.  Please tell me that this could be the pecking order being sorted and that I don't necessarily have two cockerels!   :(

You may have 2 or more cockerels but all chicks do this. The ratio of cockerels to hens in a clutch is usually a little over 50% cockerels. This is an average though so you may have 100% hens or ...... ! :ohmy:

Most of my chicks that have bumped chests have been cockerels, but then most of the chicks hatched were cockerels.   ::)
