Sweet corn

My sweet corn is about 4ft long and healthy. Unfortunately, no male flower at the top and so no cobs forming at all. It is the variety to grow Mini pops but as yet nothing. Any one got an answer?

Minipop are the opposite way round from their big brothers and sisters because the cobs are harvested before the tassels appear (i.e. before they're pollinated.)

So yours should be OK when the silks do decide to put in an appearance, although you do only get 3-5 per plant according to the seed retailers:

I also cut my tassles off and compos them so nothing gets pollinated.. Dont let the small mini cobs get too hard - they go like rock hard when cooked and scratch the throat!!
