[Beetroot queen]

We have a marrow plant which has so far produced two lovely marrows, however there are no signs of any further fruits or flowers, will that be it. I was hoping for a few more than two.  is it too late for it too flower now or does it just need some sunshine

you've got the whole of August and some September (a good 6 weeks +) for more fruit.  Maybe harvest the 2 that are already there and it should encourage more flowers

We have harvested the two, eaten one already lol. I have never grown marrow before and only grew these because the seeds were three years out of date and i had a spare square.

My mothers marrow as a kid put me off, but there are some fun things that can be done with marrow so i am trying my best.

I always thought they were the same but this year i have really noticed a taste difference, maybe my pregnant taste buds i suppose.

Leave a few courgettes to grow and for the skins to harden up and ripen, it's the maturing them that makes them taste like marrows IMO.
