Painted Lady
« on: July 23, 2013, 20:21 »
Reading a book on Cornwall in the 1800s I came across a reference to potatoes.
It stated that the varieties which dominated were called Painted Lady & Painted Lord with the lady taking precedence.
Anyone heard of these ?
Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and be suspected of knowing nothing than opening it and proving it.
