My coop seems to have fleas . Can someone recommend a solution .

What are the little critters like ?

Tiny black things get all over me

Do they jump or run ?

Are they as big as a full stop or bigger ?

Most likely to be red mite, give us a good description and we should be able to tell you what they are.

I can barely see them let alone describe them . they crawl on my skin they are pin head size or smaller.

Yes, red mite I'd say

Wipe them with a tissue or piece of white kitchen towel.  If you get a red stain on the tissue it's well fed red mite.

They are not at all red in colour .

red mites are not red until they have fed.

The coop & run is in a wooded area . I have just been out to feed & water them & without going in the coop as such got loads of the critters on me . I did the "wipe" test but no red.  I always put the mite powder down every time I clean out too. Hens & cockerel all seem happy & healthy enough .

Are they flying or falling out of the trees?

they must be airborne to get on me like they do as i don't put my head in the coop as such .

Pollen beetles or thunder flies?

Not thunder flies but a bit smaller & rounder .

Sorry I don't know what they might be, but it sounds as if they are more interested in you than your hens. 

Try putting some repellent on before you go to see your hens and see if that puts them off attacking you.
