Hi, does anyone know the name of the potato variety that is very similar to Jersey Royals.

The variety is International Kidney and they can only be called Jersey Royals when grown on Jersey. I lot of growers, myself included, have found them quite disappointing so prefer to grow varieties more suitable to our own conditions.

Mine have done well but I live in an area with similar conditions as Jersey.

As I understand it is the seaweed they use for fertilizer that gives Jersey Royals their Unique flavour or thats what I was told by a chef
