This probably doesnt count as it wasn't our raspberry but yesterday the lovely chap a few plots down from us let my 5 year old pick his first raspberry for the season.  The expert little taster gave it the thumbs up  :)

It's all getting rather plump and the colour is starting to change.
Time to cast the nets.
I've promised myself this year to make a proper inventory of which are Summer and Autumn fruits, and take appropriate action. I bet I don't.

I have seen lots of red rasps that look ready to eat on an abandoned plot near me. It seems such a waste  :(

I only have a few autumn fruiting rasps and it is their first year so they will be small this year

Mrs Growster has de-grassed all our rasps in readiness!

They're a long way off eating, but as we still have three bags from last year in the freezer, we are tintillating on having an extra violent smoothie tomorrow to see them off, before the deluge of the new beasts..;0)

my rasperries are all still at the green fruit stage as is our blackberry, but they are loaded down with fruit, looks like we will have a bumper harvest this year.

lovely raspberries :) yes mine are just coming paler green, the pigeons have taken the first coloured ones though.  this year they are so heavy with fruit that they are nearly horizontal.  i must do something about staking them.

bq do you make seedless rasp jam? if so how do get the seeds out, they always get stuck in my teeth

Use nylon stockings/pantyhose.
Rinse the hosiery to remove excess dye or sizing.
For clear juice, fill the hose with fruit, suspend from a cupboard door, and allow to drip.
For a seedless puree, squeeze the fruit through the hosiery.
Wear rubber gloves to cut down on hand-staining.
Something I can advise on!  I use muslin, or a new dishcloth , then leave it to drip overnight, - don't squeeze or it clouds the jelly - fine for purée, not so good for seedless jam (known as jelly)
