Just been speaking to a friend who was having terrible probs with slugs in her strawberry patch. She put some garden lights among the plants to see better when late-night slug hunting and there were no slugs! She reckons the lights deter them!!
Obviously you couldn't do it on the plot but has anyone tried this before in the garden?

Oooh!  Did she use those solar light stick thingummybobs?  I haven't tried it but may splash out if someone can tell me if it works!  Not for 150 sq yard plot obviously  To stick in the garden border and maybe my great big pots of flowers that are getting munched a bit
