GA - we invested in an extra large pressure cooker (holds 7 one quart/L bottles) that doesn't require those rubber seals. It's made of thick aluminum and has withstood 15 years of bottling so far, and still going strong.

I got a set of stainless steel hand tools, trowel, planting trowel, fork. All in a wooden presentation box. Absolutely great. She's a wonderful Santa my Missus :D .
He's my best buddy, my dog called Woody.
If it works, organic. If it don't, well.........??

I don't think my family understand me!!
I got from OH...... a handbag ( I don't use one ) a pair of slippers ( did need them ) & a bottle of that coffee liquer laced with caramel
From daughter no 1......Pyjamas!!.. hair straighteners....picture of Grandaughter
From Daughter no 2 .....whoopee.a day at a vineyard....wine tasting ....hic...looking forward to that !!!
Think I need to emphasise a bit more....did put on wanted list...garden vouchers!!! Feed for chooks, luckily inherited preserving pan from OH's Mum. werks well !! made rhubarb jam first attempt, fantastic!!
Look forward to next Christmas?????

I just watched my pressie that arrived late from the USA - a DVD of Siddhartha that I last saw in 1973 in Cockfosters  :shock:

I can see it now - John trying to apply ancient Indian mysticism to the blight overtaking his toms and spuds  :lol:  :lol:

I got squat this year in gardening stuff despite numerous hints, but I did give my mum a large plastic trug. At first she didn't have a clue what it was, but I think she'll soon figure loads of uses for it  :lol:

Mumsy, you'll just have to hint harder, as in, write a wish list that you tack to the fridge or the bathroom door.  :wink:

I got a couple of "grow it" things. Some new wellies for down the plot, a garden planning calender  :D  Just have to read when everthing needs sowing now so I can fill it in  :lol:  I got a new laptop too so can read this forum from the comfort of the sofa, in front of a lovely blazing, fire. Perfect!
