No not young goats, young children.

We got a few hens this year as pets (5) for my 2 young daughters, well ok for me.  

So this Christmas I thought to protect their sensibilities i'd steer clear of anything with feathers. We usually have chicken, goose, pheasant well anything to hand really, though not fond of turkey (to eat that is).

So in Booths the other day and said to no. 1 child (6), what do you fancy for Christmas dinner Pork?  Beef?  

Nah!  Passed over chicken carcasses with a "is that what Elle would look like plucked"?  "Yes".  "Hm, the duck looks nice can we have duck"?

Kids!
