Earlier had an attack of Gooseberry sawfly nibbling leaves which I got rid of with spray but now I have small patches of orangy/brown leaves that are dropping off. Any ideas what it is and how I can stop it spreading to the rest of the bush?

A photo would be good to help identify it.  It could be a number of things.

It doesn't look like any of the diseases I know of.  If there are not too many leaves like that I would be tempted just to pick them off and see how it goes.

Thats what I thought will be away for next 9 days so I'll pick them off and see how things are when we get back.
