I have a hole under my (terrible inherited) shed on my New(ish) decimated by rabbits allotment. The hole is too big for rats, and there is evidence of quite large pellety poo, that I know isn't rats (as I've had them for pets in the past). I would think it's a hedgehog, except that new tunnels are appearing alongside the beds I have so far cultivated and edged. It looks too big for a vole. There are molehills at the end of my lottie, could I have come across the culprit?

To be honest, seeing as half the plot is still thistles, and the rabbit got the other end, there's not a lot to be damaged. I just wondered what a hedgehog set looks like, as i'd quite like one on my plot!

How big roughly, we have badgers and there is no mistaking the mess they leave behind.

it could be a hedgehog had strange holes in my garden now i have hedgehogs dont know if the two are connected

Hedgehogs don't tunnel though, they make ground level nests in sheltered areas like under a hedge, corner of leafmould pile etc.

Moles?

Under a shed it could be foxes, but the pellet droppings don't sound right.
