First ever crops

Picked four radish and one strawberry today.  My very first crop on  my new alloment.  Absolutely delicious.  I am a gardener!

Great result... many more veg to come. I know when i planted my first Garlic on the new plot I felt like I now owned it.. then came all the veg picking.. great feeling this GYO.
Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... 2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..

I also picked my first crop today, one big fat strawberry and two lettuce - I was so proud I wanted to take a photo of them! I cut the strawberry into quarters and shared it with the family - all agreed it was delicious  :D

I totally know that feeling!  :D  I DID take a photo of my first crop last year.  It was a single green courgette  :D :lol:

The great thing is with fruit and veg growing, that feeling never fades  :D 

Every time you harvest anything, that warm glow of satisfaction will be there and your own homegrown stuff will always taste much better than anything you could buy  :)
