Got a goose. It's just over 5kgs. I've a small flat dweller oven and.... well, it doesn't fit as the oven is narrow, but it fits if put in lengthways.

Thank you all so very much! Just logged in since last night - work! :evil:

Anyway.... well, the goose will cook in the aga at the parents upstairs.We'll take care of the potatoes and some veggies down here, and the turkey breast (there are some who love turkey for x-mas so much they just had to have some turkey meat :roll: . So, we're sorted, thank God!

I'll cook as per Mary Berry's recipe for the aga (very similar to WG's ). Just managed to buy everything at the very last minute, but forgot bread for the stuffing and bread sauce, but no worries - FIL has bought loaves and loaves (typical Greek man - loves his bread!).

So, off to finish off the wrapping. Will be back later!
