Mazkotkas now beginning to turn. Four ready - masses more to come. Most successful so far for me are the cherry tomatoes from the sideshoots I overwintered. They are in advance of any other of my plants. Had about 15 already.

Stared to get crop from my Sungold - lovely and loads to come - and loads of green ones on my Roma (plum style) but no red ones yet. So far problem free (touch wood!).

Maskotkas being very busy. No scale in the photo but the fruit are much larger than those I grew in 2011. The plants themselves have been much more variable in shape and growth pattern. Some chunky and compact, some rambling wildly and some shooting up and masquerading as a cordon. These are outdoors  but with a poly cover at night

Some of our tomatoes are really starting to come thick and fast now  :) We have nothing adventurous but just Alicante, San Marzano and Garden Pearl. The larger bowl in the picture has Alicate in it and the two smaller bowls have Garden Pearl in them. We've got some nice cucumbers at the moment too ::)

100s&1000s are now starting to turn - but they do have really thick skins, which I don't find very pleasant.

I have been investigating Tom varieties for next year and will be picking more heritage/older thin skinned varieties.

Sweet million (grafted) have just turned - had the first one today and it is amazingly sweet.
Not bad skin thickness either but I don't want to pay for grafted toms next year.

We've got gardener's delight galore. Many many of them. Delicious  :tongue2:

The moneymaker haven't ripened yet so still to taste them.

We just got back from holiday and my lovely neighbour had been watering them for me - she even picked them and left a huge bowl full in the fridge for us. What a star  :)

I started getting some Gardener's Delight yesterday and they tasted great in the side salad Mrs J made last night:

The other varieties are still really green though:
