We are growing our runners and climbing green beans on our lovely new 'Munty' frame this year.  Everything is looking good.  I've not long come back from our plot and our runner beans are in flower though not even reached the top of the 'short' end of the frame (so about 3ft high).  Is this right?!  I'm sure they were taller last year before they started to flower.  I had a wander around the site and a nosy at everyone else's runners and they don't seem to be in flower. I'm worried.  Are they peaking too soon or is this the wonder of the frame?

I was! Very!   And then I noticed mine were different to everyone else's!  And then I thought 'pride comes before a fall......' and started to doubt myself   . Thanks Mum - I shall just go back to being happy again!
