Best not to look today then DBG!  ;)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Oh.
Tbh most of my spuds are through. There are a few vales sovereign - the leaves are dying down - to dig up but the Robinta variety in the garden have beautiful dark leaves and white flowers that seem unaffected by anything!!
Never heard of the variety before this year.

Oh and I've 2 bags of PFA to empty out - their leaves are starting to die down now.

I got warnings yesterday and today as well.
Planning on harvesting most the spuds that are left over the next couple of days.
No reports near us yet (RG26), so will just keep the greenhouse doors shut. Don't want to spray if I don't have to.

I am in South LOndon. My beloved tomatoes are getting there slowly ( a couple of oranges, some yellows and still lots of greens). I am really fearful of blight as I lost 90% of my crop to it last year, like many others on this forum. Has anyone spotted it yet? I have held off spraying with Bordeaux mix so fa apart from an application in June which was probably unnecessary. I noticed tell  tale blue spray on a few plots at my allotment though.

There's blight on the map in the Crawley area, so you may want to spray now - remember it's a preventative rather than a cure.

Same here! Especially as I won't use chemicals so no chance of preventative spray :( am going to keep a very close eye and if others on the plot start getting it I will be picking them all for green tomato chutney!
