Does anyone have some advice on whether or not it's too soon to plant out sweetcorn in South Yorkshire?

Mine have been out for weeks and weeks but DD needs to tell mine to get a move on as they aint listening to me  i may have to force feed them comfrey tea until they start to tow the line.

Mine are out in West Yorkshire. They seem happy enough

It's my first year of growing them, but not much is going on.  They are in Richy's paper pots in the greenhouse, about 4" not sure if I can be bothered to take the space up on the lottie with them, only having a go because everyone says they taste so good fresh. 

We only use mini ones for stir frys and the like, can I close plant and use small cobs from earlibird or does it have to be a 'mini pop' variety?

Mine are out in doncaster, they seem ok I think, I haven't grown them before so not sure what to expect!

Mine went out today, with a lot of words of encouragement. 17 survivors from 25 chitted seeds.

It needs to be a mini pop variety, and they do taste superbly different straight from the plant.

I put 6 out last week as a test ... there doing really good , the other 25 will be going out tomorrow

My 30 will all be going out tomorrow, although somewhat smaller than I would have liked as they were my 3rd attempt. But we're away next weekend, so it's now or never

I put mine out last week and they look happy.My neighbour put his out 3-4 weeks ago and they are still sulking.

I was slightly late sowing them but looking at what the other plot holders are doing here in doncaster some have put theirs out and they look fine but not really put a lot of growth on, others have theirs waiting to go out. I'm not really in any hurry yet to put mine out still getting some cool nights. However was thinking of rigging some sort of polytunnel over them it might solve a problem.
