Glyphosate on potato

My plot neighbour has accidentally (no I have no idea how either?!?!) sprayed the last couple of potatoes on a row with glyphosate. There was a little yellowing of the leaves but now they've perked right up with no sign anything was wrong.

I've told him I thi k they should go just to be safe, (isn't the whole point of glyphosate to get in the roots so therefore the tubers? ), but he's loathe to get rid of them since they look healthy (above ground at least) and seem to be growing away happily.

 Anyway he asked if I could google and all I can find is info about G-phate being found in seed potatoes and causing no end of trouble to farmers...

What to do.....

oh really! I was the one pushing for the compost heap 

ill let him know - no doubt he ll have a smug little smile for me!

It only needs a trace of it to make it to the tubers. If they don't die, they didn't get sprayed.
