Not sure i could bring myself to pour perfectly good beer on a pumpkin.....I'm too sting even to give it to slugs! I tried once with value beer and it hurts my brain - brain tells hand to pour beer, hand tells brain to shut up

I was not thinking of buying them a pint!  Just giving them the slops.

I sunk 5 saucers of beer dregs into the soil on my plot last night and not one slug or snail has been found in the beer today!

It has to be in a container too deep for the slug to crawl out when sozzled try sinking a jam jar in to the ground
