We inherited some parsnips which were past their best when we got the plot but decided to keep them in as a bit of weed cover.  They are starting to go to seed now so I want to get them out.  We have some lovely young courgette plants.  Are there any problems with courgettes going where the parsnips have been?  Should I manure before they go in?

The other plants we have waiting for a space when this lovely weather decides to stay put are tomatoes, squash, dwarf french beans, and various flowers

Thank you

That sounds fine  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I'd get them in asap, as they are well into spring/summer growing now!

Courgettes are a different strain, and will probably succeed, maybe also if you can feed them with a little bone meal, or 6X.
