[Beetroot queen]

This started on my fruit trees but is spreading to everything, the blackthorn are covered in green fly, the cherry trees covered in black fly, the plum and pear also blackfly. Even the compost bin the council provide is green with the blighters. They are on the tips of the rhubarb and blackcurrant also now.

I have been using soapy water but nothing is working and the plants are struggling.

Yes, but may be cheaper on the net/Amazon.  You can buy it as a concentrate, just make sure you get the one for fruit and veg. :-)
