Hi all, I started some beetroot in modules a few weeks ago, two variety's the long variety and the white variety.
My question is, when should i plant it out on the plot? the seedlings have two leaves about an inch maby more long at the moment but im not sure how big i should allow it to grow before transplanting out. as one is the long beetroot variant it will surely stump the growth of the root if left in the module for too long im thinking.

I would get them planted as soon as possible.
They always grow quicker for me if i transplant early.

Get them in, I always do mine direct and mine in the ground are the same size as yours. Can't have too many beets

yes get them in the ground i have started doing mine like this this year i always seem to get poor germination bang a few slug pellets in .

and don't worry of they look a bit sorry for themselves on planting out. They will soon pick up

I plant two or three seeds in each module and plant the whole clump... they just push each other apart when growing, Makes planting out easy

planted mine in direct and they are just coming up as well, i space it out when i sow the seeds so lets hope it work
