I gave our hens one of my last pomegranates today, cut open, and they went crazy for it -- they're usually very cautious of new things in their run (it took them a couple of days before they'd eat the butternut squash I gave them the other day)

They had some kale leaves today, which they loved too :D

Don't they look like they're really enjoying themselves?

One of the cats got jealous so he had to go in and investigate what all the happy rosey was about -- poor Toby can never understand why the hens keep walking away from him. :(

Nice looking cat - I've got a great nephew called Toby.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Thanks NoShed :D  He's a sweetie - he has a black heart-shaped nose!

I really like the name Toby; my poor husband never got to name any of our animals...
